Loom spares
A roll of wool felt

The firm began with loom spares and grew into felt, which is the order most people find surprising.

Bhilwara is a weaving town. Working on Sulzer projectile machines meant handling the felt parts inside them — the seals, the wicks, the damping pads — and it became clear that the felt was harder to get hold of than the steel. So we started supplying it.

Three decades on, the felt side is the larger half of the business, and it reaches well beyond textiles: polishing shops, jewellers, glass and paper handling, engineering works, and the music trade. The loom spares are still here, and still what the weaving belt knows us for.
